Our very own Matt Hatcher has entered the Virgin London Marathon 2012 that will take place on 22nd April. This is arguably one of the biggest running events in the world, covering over 26 miles.
Matt will be running to raise support for The National Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease, which is an association which helps to improve the life of everyone afflicted by Inflammatory Bowel Disease. 250,000 people in the UK are affected by these conditions, around 1 in 400, so a very worthwhile cause to support. This foundation is close to The GBCC’s heart as one of our own creative specialists, Dave Capper, who provides many of the Medici Cards we enjoy, is currently recovering from this condition. Matt’s own niece Katie is also one suffering from this disease.
Matt’s participation will certainly help to make a difference for The National Association for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease and you can help spread the word and make a real difference by making a donation, no matter how small, to help support the many people suffering with these conditions:
