The Great British Card Company was founded in the Spring of 2007 as the chosen publishing vehicle for a very special greetings card concept. New card ranges of unsurpassed quality both in terms of excellence of design and production value. New card ranges which would only be available to selected retailers within the UK.
The initial launch provides card buyers with a new vista in cute products. Three different ranges lead the way. ‘Charlie’s Ark’ is a memorable depiction of a little boy’s collection of toy animals and how he and they play, laugh and sometimes cry together. ‘Peter Cross’ gives his name to a range of cards that are a series of highly amusing and yet remarkably detailed paintings with cats, mice and even meerkats, dealing with aspects of the modern world. And ‘Bearaphernalia’ is a mixed collection of bears old and new and are illustrated in water-colours, each with a name and a story to tell.
As a subsidiary of Paper House – the largest independent direct-to-retail publisher in the UK – The Great British Card Company is backed up by a sales, marketing and customer service resource that is second to none. For authorised retailers and stockists at home and abroad, there is also a website facility for ordering online by specific card design. See the top right of this page.
After the first launch – with over 110 different designs available – an ambitious programme of introducing new material is planned over the coming twelve months – so watch this space for details! |
